Agnus dei was commissioned as part of a jubilee mass for the Swedish Radio Choir's 100th anniversary celebration and premiered in October 2025.

"The Radio Choir's collaboration with prominent composers has enriched the choral repertoire with challenging repertoire that broadens the concepts of what choral singing and vocal expression can mean. The proud tradition of contemporary music continues today, and for the 100th anniversary celebration, the Radio Choir has commissioned a mass from six of today's most interesting composers active in Sweden: Johannes Pollak, Britta Byström, Djuro Zivkovic, Andrea Tarrodi, Mirjam Tally and Matthew Peterson. They all have a close relationship with the voice, and have each composed their own movement, where they relate to the mass text with personal temperament and explore the sacred music that is the foundation and backbone of vocal music."
