Preface
Wilhelm Peterson-Berger is one of Sweden's greatest composers of all time. He became that mainly through 100 original composed piano pieces, of which the works in Frösöblomster are the most famous.

The first collection Frösöblomster was already published in September 1896, with well-known works such as "Summer song", "Lawn tennis", "To the roses", "Congratulations" and "Vid Frösö church".
This collection of Frösöblomster with well-known pieces of music is undoubtedly Wilhelm Peterson-Berger's breakthrough in Swedish music.

The second collection of Frösöblomster was published in September 1900 and enjoyed the same success with works such as "Jämtland" and "Vid Larsmess".

The third collection of Frösöblomster with "Entåg i Sommarhagen" as one of the most famous works was published in October 1914 and came to confirm Wilhelm Peterson-Berger's popularity.

Since this melodiously fine-tuned music with its nature-inspired Nordic sound had influences on other works by the composer and also had great significance for Swedish musical life, we have chosen to collect all works in one and the same edition - Frösöblomster.

Wilhelm Peterson-Berger was born on February 27, 1867 in Ullångers parish in Ångermanland and died on December 3, 1942 at Östersund Hospital in Jämtland.
