Gabriel Wilczkowski chose poems by Eva-Stina Byggmästar when he composed his work Den stora gästen, a commission from the Academic Singing Society in Helsinki.

Gabriel says in his preface: "Light is a recurring theme in the collection of poems, and the word light can also end this piece. I would like the piece to both begin and end in light."
