Choosing hymns is an exciting task. What do we want the hymn to convey, does the text fit Sunday's theme, is it easy to sing? Psalm selection list is a help in that work and a complement to the lists and registers of the hymn books. This revised Psalm selection list also includes Psalms in the 21st century hymnals. For each feast day throughout the church year, there are several different suggestions and hymns for special occasions. The proposals are arranged according to the principle: entrance hymn, offertory hymn, final psalm, hymns for today's theme as well as hymns for family worship.
Each hymn is indicated by key and time signature. The basis for the Psalm selection list is, in addition to Psalms in the 21st century, The Swedish Psalm Book with additions and Hymns.
