Repertoire collection in three volumes with Evert Taube's finest songs with elaborate guitar arrangements by Ralf Sandberg and Torhild Winnberg. The notation is made with both amateur guitarists and singers as well as more advanced guitarists in mind: simpler and more advanced chords, arrangements both in sheet music and tablature. For a large number of the songs, there are also separate solo arrangements that can be used either as interludes or completely independently. In the text comments there is something about the history of the tunes taken from the later Taube research as well as tips on how the accompaniment can be played on the guitar.

Evert Taube landed in Buenos Aires in the 1910s as a young twenty-year-old and was strongly impressed by the Latin American atmosphere and folk music tradition. Evert Taube's international views from Latin America and Southern Europe were unique in their time, and the depictions of the Swedish summer, the archipelago and nature are absolutely phenomenal. The Latin-American-influenced songs in this volume are colored with tango, samba or salsa rhythms, for example in Fritiof and Carmencita, Invitation to Guatemala, My darling, Oxdragarsong and Pepita dances. Other songs such as Havsörnswals, Gammelwals i Roslagen and Här Rosemarie, the blue Nämdöfjärden can be seen smelling of sea and archipelago. The invitation to Bohuslän and Kärleken och vinden pay tribute to Bohuslän, while My beloved went to my garden and Nocturne has an art musical style. After all, it is the women that Evert Taube sings about, and many songs can also be sung and interpreted by female voices and from a female perspective. Likewise, the dialogues between lovers can be performed by a man as well as by a woman – it is the poem that carries the song. These new fresh guitar arrangements are addressed to all Evert Taube lovers, but also to those who have not yet discovered his great treasure of wisdom.
