Körkonst is a book about singing, choral work and communication. It is not a book about conducting, but about being a conductor. The book is intended as a textbook in choral pedagogy, as inspiration for choir leaders and as deepening material for choral singers. In an oral and easy-to-understand language, Tone Bianca Dahl presents her ideas about the choral voice, about the conducting profession and about the communication between choir, conductor and audience. Many of her thoughts are taken from other areas, such as the sports world, where the importance of good leadership is often emphasized. Tone Bianca Dahl is an experienced choir director who also works as a lecturer at the Norwegian Academy of Music in Oslo, where she teaches conducting and choral didactics.
