Ingemar Månsson worked as a church musician for 30 years at the Church of the Epiphany in Stockholm, where he formed the Hägerstens Motett Choir. Since autumn 1995, he has been the leader of Lund's Vocal Ensemble. The purpose of the book is to analyze text and music in some well-known choral works and to express thoughts about artistic creativity with the hope that choir singers and choir leaders will enjoy the essays.
