Matthew Peterson – composer-in-residence at the Dallas Symphony

Matthew Peterson is the Dallas Symphony Orchestra's new composer-in-residence 2024–2026.

The residency begins on September 6 with the premiere of the commissioned work "Vagabond", which Peterson himself describes as his most personal orchestral work to date, and ends with a new large-scale work for the Radiokören and Dalasinfonietta in the spring of 2026. A total of nine concerts with music by Matthew Peterson will be given.
