In No More War! for SATB divisi a cappella, the women's choir is sometimes mirrored in the men's choir an octave down, which makes the composition accessible to the singers. Jan Yngwe writes: "When Russia invaded Ukraine in February 2022, it was a huge shock. The compassion and also powerlessness that I felt was channeled in composing No More War! The concise text by Asif Andalib, poet from Bangladesh, engaged me and never before have I composed a piece with such speed and urgency. The drama at the beginning of the piece when the voices become louder and increasingly agitated came out of that emotion. I chose to end with the loving, ascending chorale Learn to Love Please”.
