No More War! for SATB divisi a cappella is affordable in difficulty, not least because the women's choir is often mirrored in the men's choir an octave down. Jan Yngwe writes: "When Russia invaded Ukraine in February 2022, it came as a bolt from the blue for the outside world as well. The compassion and also powerlessness that many of us felt then was channeled for my own part in composing my choral piece No More War! The short and punchy text by Asif Andalib, poet from Bangladesh, engaged me and never before have I composed a piece with such speed and naturalness. The drama at the beginning of the piece when the voices become more and more, louder and more and more agitated! Ending with the loving ascending chorale Learn to Love Please”.
