Nadja Eriksson is a genre-wide composer who writes in both Nordic musical tradition and in more modern styles. Her choral works have been greatly appreciated by children and young people as well as by adults.
Nadja Eriksson studied to become a music teacher at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm. Since graduating in 1979, she has worked both as a music and choir teacher. She has played in a dance band, been a conductor and recorded several records that brought her to the fore both on radio and television. Nadja calls herself an inspirer and creative musician, and loves to improvise and explore different genres.
Nadja now works as a church musician in Simrishamn where she leads several choirs. In addition to that, she also travels around the country and gives lectures and workshops with various choirs and groups.
