The music must come from within, it must express and evoke both thoughts and feelings. For many years I have worked as a musician and composer in different traditions. I find it difficult to rate the impressions as high or low, it's all music that I've been working on, period, end, says Peter Lindroth.
Peter Lindroth received his first music lessons in the municipal music school and in Norrköping's Music Classes. The pop band, The Hippopotamuses in 1965, became the beginning of a long musician's path that crossed youth centers, nightclubs, public parks, pubs, clubs, theaters, studios, etc.
Peter Lindroth began studies at the Academy of Music in Gothenburg in 1973, and finished in 1979 in Stockholm with a degree as music director. He then worked as a freelance musician, solo artist and producer. He took private composition lessons from Sven-David Sandström and attended diploma training in composition at the Royal Academy of Music in Stockholm 1989-93.
