Written and compiled by Kathleen Roland-Silverstein, this unique anthology presents 25 romances written by the most significant Swedish composers of the 19th and 20th centuries. For each song there is an introduction by the composer, phonetic (IPA) writing, as well as word-for-word and poetic translation of the poem.
