Erik Bye (1926-2004) was one of Norway's biggest radio and television personalities but also a poet, singer, journalist and actor. In 2005, he was voted as Norway's third most important person in a poll of the Norwegian of the century in NRK.
Hans Fredrik Jacobsen (1954) is a multi-musician, artist and composer who has collaborated with many great Norwegian artists and participated in most festivals and cultural events.
Drøm is a collaboration between these two cultural personalities, a project that was also the last for Erik Bye, who died shortly after the recording. Here it is now presented in an arrangement for treble choir, originally written for the women's choir Confetti, by Kjell Lönnå.
