THE HYMN OF ACXIOM was released in the album Aims, by the songwriter and artist Vienna Teng, in 2013. The lyrics draw attention to the role of humans in the consumer society by being the voice of the large company Acxiom that collects data about us to resell to other companies in order to map our habits. Somebody hears you... someone is learning the colors of all your moods. The piece ends with an unexpected Amen. Has consumerism replaced our need for deeper meaning and spirituality?

Henrik Dahlgren, composer and arranger in Malmö, has arranged the work in two versions, for mixed choir and women's choir a cappella.

In September 2015, the CD Urgency of now (Footprint Records) will be released with the choir Vocal Art Ensemble of Sweden and the conductor Jan Yngwe, where The Hymn of Axciom can be heard.
