Jacob Mühlrad is referred to in the media as a "shooting star" among young composers. He was the youngest composer ever to have a work performed at the Royal Opera House, and he has since received several exciting commissions of different nature.

THOUGHTS & THOUGHTS was Jacob Mühlrad's first choral work. It was first performed in 2011 by Sofia Vokalensemble and Bengt Ollén at the opening concert of FSK's choir leader convention in Falun in October 2011. The work portrays a thought process divided into three different stages, from an abstract birth via concretization to an association.
