Shevah means seven, and refers to the seven days of the creation story. The text consists of the first words of the Bible: In the beginning God created heaven and earth. Shevah was commissioned by the Västerås cathedral congregation and premiered in February 2016 by the Marian choir under the direction of Gary Graden.
