During the work on the big book about Alice Tegnér, Alice Tegnér – Musikskapare , a whole suitcase full of sheet music, copies of Alice's own handwriting, turned up. A selection of these – solo songs, choral songs and piano music – is included in the book, including three very beautiful songs for women's voices and piano. They are now also published in a separate booklet to make the music more accessible. As far as is known, these three songs have never before been published. It is not certain that Alice Tegnér intended them to be published together, but they have a stylistically very unified expression. It is romantic music of the highest order. The texts are by Zackarias Topelius (anonymously translated into German), Johann Wolfgang Goethe and by an anonymous poet, perhaps AT himself.
