"The arrangement of "Bereden väg för Herran" came about when one of my ensembles at Sjövik folk high school wanted a new adaptation of the Dala variant. I was opposed at first, because I thought there was already such a beautiful arrangement by Anders Bond. A new one simply seemed superfluous. I got counterstabbed and then made a wordless scar where I blew in the more traditional Bond arrangement (Gehrman's no. N03318). There, of course, you can instead make a unison presentation of the chorale or let the audience or congregation sing along. The second arrangement can be woven into Psalm 633 (to Bo Setterlind's text "With heaven it is like for ten virgins") or used as a prelude and/or postlude to this hymn. The chord analysis for the two chorales was added at a later stage. I imagine that it can be used as a basis for improvisation in various contexts." Anna Cederberg-Orreteg
