Arrangement for female voices and instruments.
"These arrangements of two Bach minuets are inspired by Gunnar Eriksson's arrangement of Purcell's Music for a while, which is such a fantastic piece of music to sing and be a part of. The first minuet is taken from Klavierbüchlein für Wilhelm Friedemann Bach and is thus written for a piano instrument. It can be advantageously presented in the original as a prelude to this arrangement for choir. At a concert together with a cellist, Cello Suite No. 1 in G major was performed, whereby the cellist played Minuet I alone and the choir joined in with this arrangement in Minuet II. Performing these pieces with the suggested instruments is possibly preferable, but together with instruments such as accordion or guitar, new soundscapes can be conquered. The organ or a digital piano can absolutely replace the cello part, just as, for example, a clarinet can become an excellent counterpart to the choir instead of the piano.” Anna Cederberg-Orreteg
