Vägar till worldmusiken is an inspiration and method book that tells about the work of a few zealots to come together in music based on different cultural backgrounds. It documents the so-called world music laboratories of the musicians Ale Möller and Jonas Knutsson, who experimented with meetings between musical traditions found in our new, multifaceted Sweden. The book wants to encourage music practitioners and teachers to similar experiments around the country. It is aimed at those interested in music and teachers at, for example, music colleges, folk colleges, cultural schools, music high schools or in study circles. The book includes a CD with recordings from the laboratories. Kalle Tiderman is a music journalist and presenter on Sweden's Radio P2.
