Commentary on the work: The text is in Romansh, as the piece was commissioned by a Swiss vocal ensemble. The music is for SSAATTBB with some minor solos. My vision has been to capture the light, colorful and danceable energy of a butterfly and my wish is that the choir will let the music lift with a bright attitude and clear, shimmering vocal sounds. The piece offers a few different possibilities for movements/choreography, which can be developed together with the singers. Feel free to use the singers' own creativity to build organic movements that enhance the expression. /Susanna Lindmark
