My Transverse Flute Book 1 is aimed at anyone who wants to learn to play the transverse flute, especially younger children and students who appreciate a slower tempo.
It is an accessible and inviting book. The idea is to quickly build up a repertoire of songs without having to learn so many new notes. The songs are practiced by ear. Music reading is introduced gradually, but initially the songs are presented with letter boxes.
All melodies are recorded with piano accompaniment on the accompanying CD.
