Psalmernas väg is a commentary to The Swedish Psalm Book. With its hymns, this represents an important cultural tradition in our country. Through the first 325 psalms, an ecumenical cooperation between the country's Christian communities unique to Christendom is also manifested. The hymns that are included in this volume of Psalmernas väg are therefore found not only in The Swedish Psalm Book, but also in Psalms and Songs, Victory Tones and the Salvation Army Songbook.
This first volume deals with Psalms 1-204. Subsequent volumes will cover hymns 205-325, with which the hymnbook part common to several churches and denominations will be treated, as well as hymns 326-700, corresponding to the Church of Sweden's denominational part of the hymnbook.
