The drama of the Passion period in German narrated by the evangelist Lukas in Rolf Martinsson's tone dress with commentary lyrics written by Göran Greider. The Lukas-Passion is music that is accessible to the vast majority, both performers and listeners. A passion that can be sung by many for many.

The premiere of the German version was given in Zurich on 25 March 2023 with the Bach Collegium. It is now free to perform for other choirs and ensembles.
