Trini, the little lizard from the Sonoran Desert, has a job to do. It is dry in the desert, so very dry. All the rain dances in the lizard village haven’t brought the rain. Trini has to fetch swift Lintro, who can help them. Stark, the lizard chief, asks them to go to Lake Arareko, where they can find water—but only if they go about it just right. Will they succeed? Can they charm the elephant from the mountain?
The Way to Arareko is a work created especially with children and young people with disabilities in mind. It is suitable for all children aged 4–5 and up, or anyone who is still a child at heart.
Audience members have multiple chances to participate, helping the little lizard and the boy in a song or rhyme or by clapping along, as much as they want or are able to.
