The work was premiered in Växjö with a subsequent tour in March 2000 by Musica Vitae under the direction of Jerzy Maksymiuk, Polska Since then String Moments has been performed several times with the Huaröd Chamber Orchestra under the direction of Mats Rondin. String Moments is composed on the border between tonality and non-tonality. surrounded by a more flowing music with gestures from a more romantic tradition.
