Marie Samuelsson's Love Trilogy in its entirety
On Thursday, February 13, Marie Samuelsson's Love Trilogy will be performed for the first time in its entirety, at the Alla Hjärtans concert at Malmö Live.
This means 50 minutes of music by a Swedish, female, living composer before an intermission at a Swedish concert hall, which is unique in music Sweden. In connection with the concert intro one hour before the concert, an awards ceremony will take place, where Marie Samuelsson will receive the Rosenberg Prize, which she was awarded in December 2024 .
The Malmö Symphony Orchestra performs under the direction of Delyana Lazarova. Soloists are Ann-Kristin Jones, mezzo-soprano, and Gustav Wetterbrandt, clarinet. The three parts of the Love Trilogy have been commissioned by the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra, Malmö Symphony Orchestra, Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra and the Nordic Chamber Orchestra.
