Åse Söderqvist-Spering has forty years as a published textbook author and twenty-five popular piano books to her name. Generations of pianists have begun their musical journey with the Pianogehör books. Her compositions and arrangements are always for the pianist, with musical joy and interplay in focus, as well as a characteristic sense of harmony and what actually sounds good at all levels.

– No one is unmusical, says Åse. Everyone can learn to play and sing, and the piano is a great tool. It gives me just as much joy to guide someone to success at a high concert level as it does to meet someone who has never played and to introduce music and interaction into their lives. It's so important!
